The explosive dynamics in the action flicks were spot on and the conversations were sharp and clear without ever growing tired. The same holds true for frequencies over 20,000 Hz. They pay attention to every detail and never turn down the level to compensate for the sound’s startling brilliance.
This receiver could also play music in the pure direct form. There are 32-bit DACs incorporated into the receiver, and I believe it led to this. A broad soundstage and a more detailed and clear midrange are two things I noticed about this receiver in comparison to our previous receivers.
Now that the audio quality has improved, we can go on. Let’s talk about the receiver’s visual quality now. In terms of image quality, 4K Blu-ray looked stunning on the TSR 700, and there were no issues with the picture being shown. Another thing that surprised me was the quality of the receiver’s upscaling. As a result, the image seems to be more bright and rich. You don’t need a 4K Blu-ray player to enjoy your Blu-ray library this way. In addition, it’s not as excellent as a pure 4K DVD, but it’s darn near there.
Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Neural: X are all included in the audio package. For the most mind-blowing sound effects and tracks possible, gamers will have access to ALLM, VRR, QFT and QMS capabilities.
