Many of you might not know that elite 75t has a four-microphone call technology system that helps to deliver crystal clear calls from any place.

The design of elite 75t might be the simplest one but, the color variation it has is quite classy. Especially, titanium black is personally my favorite.

Quality

All over, the build quality along with the design has always been great with Jabra and nothing different or new from Jabra Elite 75t.

Coming to the call quality; the call quality is of course very impressive. But, if you compare it with AirPods pro you might not prefer it that much. However, if you are a newbie in using earbuds, you will definitely love it.

Elite 75t fixed all the major errors of elite 65t. The previous edition of Jabra elite 75t had fitness issues which are now solved! Now it is lighter, smaller, perfect, and the most comfortable fit for humans with small ears.

On the other side, Active 75t has a variety of colors and each of them is very stylish and vibrant. Though most of the color options are very dark and deep. However, it makes it look trendy and funky.

Initially, the active 75t released in three basic colors; Copper black, Titanium Black, and Navy. But later on, few more colors including Sienna, Mint, and gray colors were exempted.

According to your style, you can pick any color. I, personally liked the mint one most, as I found it very cute and unique.

Similar to Active 75t, elite 75t is also the upgraded and better version of the elite 65t. Though both of the versions are very identical, they have few important differences.

Rather than the color variation, the design and quality of both the devices are very similar. So if you compare, Jabra elite active 75t vs Jabra elite 75t in terms of design, you won’t find any difference. Only one thing, that is the Elite active 75t has more color variation than Elite 75t.

Jabra Elite vs Active Which one gives the better audio performance?

To begin with, with the support of codes SBC and AAC the sound quality of Elite 75t is fine. Sadly, this earbud only supports SBC and AAC but other rivals use Qualcomm’s fuller, Liberty 2 Pro, and the bandwidth-intensive aptx.

Further, songs from the buds come out with warm notes in mid-range. Though the highs can sometimes be quite timid.

The bass amount of Elite 75t is 3.03dB, where the low-bass, mid-bass and high-bass values are 5.99dB, 3.04dB and -1.67dB respectively.

Moreover, its treble amount is 0.89dB with a value of -1.44dB(low-treble), 2.07dB(Mid-treble) and 4.75dB(high-treble). Furthermore, the peaks and dips rate of Elite 75t is 1.49dB and 1.58dB.

Besides, it has a passive sound-stage of 0.9. Now the question is,  what is passive sound-stage?

Sound-stage qualities are not inherent to the audio content, the headphones have to create them rather than produce them. They determine whether the sound is perceived to be coming from inside or in front of the head, how open and spacious the sound-stage is, how much the headphones acoustically interact with the environment, and most importantly, how strong the phantom center is.

Read: Tin Audio T2, T2 Pro, and T3 Comparison Guide

Why do this passive sound-stage matter?

Because, when an accurately produced, similar to that of a stereo loudspeaker setup, a large and spacious soundstage is desired. For which, a passive sound-stage is required.

Moreover, Elite 75t has an acoustic space excitation of value 0.6.

Again, what does acoustic space excitation means?

It means how loud the headphones are and how much they excite their environment acoustically. If the headphones are loud and open enough, the sound leaking from the headphones will be affected by the environment before reflecting back into the open headphones and to the listener’s ears.

Note that, when the value is >7.5 then the acoustic space value is good.

So clearly, Elite 75t doesn’t leak sound in the environment.

Interestingly, I have noticed, when I listen to the old tracks I find highs scratchy. But, the modern tracks are so reverb and compressed that the default equalization settings are ideal for Elite 75t.

Moving on to Jabra Active 75t, it has many different features in this regard than Elite 75t. This earbud automatically sensors for ear detection which means the  removal of one earbud manually pauses playback and reinserting it continues the playback.

Frequency Response

Moreover, the frequency response of these earbuds will make you feel that this earbud is truly made for workouts! Because Active 75t has a heavy bass which is the most preferred sort of music during exercise.

Besides, the most important resonance of range 600Hz-2kHz helps to repair the loss of some trifles in the mid-range which will perfectly serve you at the gym especially during the cardio sessions.

However, if you choose Elite Active 75t for analytic listening then you might feel a bit disappointed. But using  Jabra’s mobile application you can adjust the EQ to mitigate the response of the low-end.

Moving on, the bass amount of Elite Active 75t is 3.43dB, where the low-bass, mid-bass, and high-bass values are 8.15dB, 4.69dB, and -2.83dB respectively. Also, Active 75t has an acoustic space excitation as well as a passive sound-stage value of 0.7.

Moreover, its treble amount is 1.36dB with a value of -0.06dB(low-treble), 3.61dB(Mid-treble) and 3.99dB(high-treble). Furthermore, the peaks and dips rate of Elite 75t are 2.02dB and 1.93dB respectively.

Therefore, between Jabra Elite Active 75t vs Elite 75t, if you are a pure audiophile, you might not like Elite Active 75t as it is sort of designed for and also suits exercises along with other heavy and energetic activities. It will indeed fill your every morning workouts with full of energy and music!

Other than that, for daily use, you should go for Elite 75t.

What is the Basic Difference Between Jabra Elite 75t and Active 75t?

In easy language, Jabra Elite active 75t is just the workout version of Elite  75t. It is very hard to mark which one is either active or elite, as they are very identical. Moreover, Active 75t is waterproof; it is IP57 rated. Meanwhile, Elite 75t is IP55 rated. So it loves to remain dry!

With a little bit of difference in sound profile, frequency response, isolation, recording quality, all other features of active 75t vs elite 75t  are very similar.

Not only the 75t series, but the same scenario is also true for Jabra elite vs Jabra elite active.

Jabra Elite 75t vs Active 75t Which one has better noise isolation?

Noise isolation is a very significant feature of a head device. As max people use it for peace or relaxing.

Also, sometimes the chaos and noise of the environment can irritate a lot while listening to any music or watching a movie. For which,  so noise isolation is a must.

The unwanted noise cannot be fully removed but it can be reduced to some extent by active or passive noise isolation. For providing an amazing experience to the listeners, Jabra added the noise-isolation feature in both their earbuds.

The overall attenuation, which means the overall amount of environment noise reduced in dB, of Jabra Elite Active 75t is -20.65dB. The value is considered good when it is <-20.65dB. So, in this regard, the overall attenuation of Elite 75t is better as the amount is -16.35dB.

Moving on, the overall amount of noise isolation in the bass range is 20Hz-250Hz, where the amount for elite 75t is -1.31dB and -6.18dB for active 75t.

Similarly, the overall amount of noise isolation in the mid-range is 250Hz-2.5kHz and the treble-range is 2.5kHz-20kHz. And the amount of mid and treble in Elite 75t is -15.69dB and -33.41dB. On the contrary, the values for Active 75t is -20.97dB and -36.25dB respective.

Note that, the good value for bass is when it is < -15dB, mid is < -15dB and treble < -30dB.

In short, these features of the earbuds can block many disturbing voices around you!

Other Important Value-added Features

Moreover, the SpNR value of elite 75t is 11.74dB, whereas active 75t’s value is 15.06dB. In order to explain, SpNR means speech to noise ratio which is the difference between the levels of speech and background noise as heard by the listeners. And also, when the value is >24dB then the range is considered as good.

Talking about leakage, it is the amount of sound bleeding out of the headphones. Leakage is also a very important factor to be noted while buying a headset. Because there is no listener that wants people around him/her to hear what being listened to.

In order to test the leakage of the earbuds, I have tested both of them. The result I found is, the amount of sound leakage of elite and active 75t is 24.11dB and 24.53dB; heard 1 foot away from the user, while the user is listening to a 100dB SPL signal.

Thus, you can see the leakage rate of both earbuds is quite the same. So no matter which earbuds among Jabra 75t active vs Elite you buy;  you will get the least leakage.

According to my, in the comparison between Jabra 75t vs 75t active, elite 75t might be the better option.  The elite active 75t is also good at deducting noise, but as they are modeled for exercises they cannot reduce the noise as well as elite 75t. Because while exercising one may need to hear the instructions from your gym or yoga instructor as well. So, inactive 75t, the noise isolation is less than its opponent.

In the above, I have stated many times that both the models, that is Jabra Active 75t and Jabra Active Elite 75t  are the updated versions of their previous version, Jabra Active 65t and Elite 65t. So isn’t it necessary to compare the previous models with the new ones?

I believe, it is! Because it will help one to understand why was the update for, how worth the update is, and the difference between Jabra 65t and 75t or 75t vs 65t .

So serially let’s compare Jabra 65t and 75t, Jabra elite active 75t vs 65t, Jabra elite 65 vs 75, Jabra elite 75t vs Jabra elite active 65t, Jabra elite 75t vs Jabra elite 65t and many more..

The Jabra ‘Sound+’ app

Getting back to our main topic again, Jabra active 75t as well as elite 75t have got some new features introduced in ‘Sound+’ app. This application enables you to check for software updates. Moreover, features like the ability to create along with saving a custom EQ is available here. Also, in this app you can switch b/w 6 presets along with a speech preset which will help you in podcast.

Moreover, you have the option to choose between 3 EQ presets for call, which are bass boast, treble boost and the default one.

Furthermore, there are other options available, such as, the Hear-Through mode. With the help of this mode you can remain alert and watchful which is especially an excellent feature for the outdoor athletes. Isn’t it cool?

Wait; this is not just it! Both the elite and active 75t models own a feature where they are able to mask sound by  using  the built-in microphone. Doesn’t this app makes it move easy  for you to operate the buds?

Jabra elite 75t vs 75t active: How is the battery-life?

Elite Active 75t earbuds last for 6.5 hours on just a single charge. But if you use it with a lower-volume then it will last slightly longer.

However, I must say Jabra is providing better durability with its active model.

On the other side, the amount of continuous battery-life provided by elite 75t is 6.8 hours. Again, the total amount of battery-life provided by

elite 75t, including any possible charges provided by the case is 27.2 hours. Note that, this value is calculated based on the number of additional charges reported by the manufacturer.

Gratifyingly, elite 75t is very reliable. Moreover, if you compare active 75t vs 75t elite, elite is the better one, as it has more battery-life and less charging time.

What about the connectivity?

Both the Jabra devices use Bluetooth 5.0 that allows the user to get a true and best wireless audio experience.

The true wireless connection lets the device to form a dual connection. Having that said, if you are looking for a wireless headset, headphone or earbuds, make sure that the device has Bluetooth 5.0 because it can transfer up to 2x data per second in comparison to Bluetooth 4.0

Therefore, the connectivity of both active and elite 75t is equally good.

Jabra 85t is the latest talk of the town. It is one of the latest releases of Jabra and many people also state it as the update of Jabra 75t series. But is it actually the update?

I actually don’t know about the updates, but I can see many changes for sure.(!) The weight of 85t is more than that of 75t which feels a little less secure on the ears even with the extra ear gels given on it.

So, if you are looking for a good fit, 75t will be a good choice. Besides, if you compare the price, 75t is a lot cheaper than 85t with almost same battery life and other features.

FAQs of Jabra Elite 75t vs Active 75t

This section deals with the most commonly asked questions. So, in spite of addressing all the common factors in the article, I am again answering the basic questions that arise most often and frequently.

1.Thinking about buying an earbud for gym. Jabra elite sport vs airpods pro, or jabra elite sport vs 75t active, which one should I go for?

→ Between elite sport and active 75t, active 75 has an in-ear form which is ultra-compact and lightweight, with little or no interference with earrings, spectacles, hats or hairstyles. It blocks out plenty of environmental noise by inserting it in the ear canal itself.

Also, active 75t has a better battery-life as well as connectivity than elite sport.
